and honey-glazed motions
the speech of everyday life
speaks infinitely more
than the music of a night.

open your eyes wide before 'I do'
yet close one when do is done
lament not after doing
and speak more before this do
....
for you never know when hearing stops
and listening ends
and the windows of the soul wander
